the "NORM"...but not

Jessica Galloway is a 35-year-old CEO of her own web-design company. She is beautiful, smart, and successful. However, her romantic life is in shambles. She is torn between Maurice, her high school sweetheart, who cheats on and abuses her; and her new beau, Terrance, a small business owner who tends to be too predictable for Jessica's taste.
 
While undergoing intense psychotherapy, Jessica begins to notice how traumatic  events from her past are affecting her present, and possibly even her future.
 
She is faced with reliving horrific events from past  relationships that include physical abuse, emotional abuse,  molestation, and rape. Will she be able to overcome these atrocities and move toward a healthy and stable relationship?
 
In writing her first novel, Tracey wishes to bring to the forefront the devastating effects that childhood abuse can have on an individual’s psyche and well-being, even in adulthood.
